OUR STORY

WE DIDN'T START ON A RANCH...
AND WE DIDN'T START WITH MUCH.

One of us grew up in Carthage with a love for fashion and no background in cattle.
The other was born into ranching, with cattle running deep in his blood.
Different paths, different passions — but the same small-town roots and big dreams.

We married young, broke, and hopeful. What we lacked in experience, we made up for in grit.

BUILT THE HARD WAY

Our early years were defined by long nights, cold mornings, and learning everything the hard way. We calved cows from a small house in town and lived out of an old job-site trailer during calving season — no running water, no bathroom, and just enough heat to get by. We warmed calves by bringing them inside and kept moving forward because that’s what you do.

That same first year, we held our very first Annual Bred Heifer Sale — a dream that would continue for thirteen years, through highs, lows, and everything in between.

MOSS ROCK RANCH

In 2011, we took a leap we weren’t ready for and bought the land surrounding our family home.
We celebrated with hot dogs, a few beers, and a creek-side seat on the ground we had just bought.

That creek — rock bottom, moss-covered — gave Moss Rock Ranch its name.

Over the years, we added ground, rebuilt after losses, and slowly completed the ranch we had dreamed about since day one.
Not because it was easy, but because it mattered.

Ranching is never just business — it’s family.

We’ve been blessed with incredible cowboys who became part of our story. In 2024, we lost one of our own to leukemia, just months after his diagnosis.
It was the hardest season we’ve ever faced, and it reminded us that no financial struggle or tough calving year compares to losing someone you love.

Still, we did what ranchers do.
We showed up.
We leaned on each other.
We kept going.

THROUGH THE FIRE

Years earlier, the original ranch house burned to the ground.
One piece survived — a soot-stained Frederic Remington picture that still hangs in our rebuilt home today.
It’s imperfect. Scarred. Still standing.

That image became our reminder: no matter how bad it gets, you rebuild.

That’s where our slogan comes from.
That’s what this brand stands on.

WHERE RANCHING MEETS FASHION

We are ranchers.
We are small-town.
We are built from hard seasons and harder lessons.

One of us loves ranching.
One of us loves fashion.
This brand lives where those two worlds meet.

Our goal is simple: to inspire, to respect the work behind the lifestyle, and to remind those in agriculture that we see them — because we are them.

This isn’t a trend. It isn’t a phase.
It’s a way of life.
